Giving your tithes and offerings is an act of worship. Generosity is one of the essential ways in which God works to change lives, transform communities, and renew the church. None of the work we do at our church would be possible without God moving the hearts of our people to give. Your generosity helps create and prompt a church where people feel welcomed, led, and loved.
De Leon First United Methodist Church has implemented some ways to enable and support your giving to the church. Many of us don’t carry cash or a checkbook anymore, but we do carry our smartphones and other portable devices. Now you can give using your mobile device or on the website in just seconds.
We are partnering with Vanco Payment Solutions as our provider for eGiving solutions. Vanco’s eGiving tools are trusted by more than 22,000 churches nationwide. With Vanco’s eGiving and GivePlus tools you will be able make electronic donations ONLINE – through our church website fumcdeleon.org, MOBILE – using your smartphone app making eGiving easy from anywhere.
Ways you can give your tithes and gifts to De Leon First United Methodist Church:
Check or cash: You can place a check or cash in the offering plate on Sunday, or mail or drop by your donation to the church office.
Online Giving: This is an easy way for you to prioritize and reinforce your commitment to give your offerings and tithes to God first, before anything else. You may choose to give by Electronic Funds Transfer (automatic bank draft) directly from your bank account or by using your debit/credit card. Any of these options allow you to make one-time gift or recurring gifts.
Mobile Giving: The free smartphone app allows you to give directly from your smartphone anywhere.
