Missions

Serving others is at the heart of who we are. Our youth participate in local and regional mission trips during the summer — some within De Leon and others reaching across Texas and surrounding states. Our adults have traveled internationally to serve in Mexico, Honduras, and Kenya. United Women in Faith focuses on social concerns and outreach right here at home. And as part of the United Methodist Church, we support the denomination's global mission priorities, including working with the poor to eliminate poverty and eradicating killer diseases such as HIV/AIDS and malaria. No matter where it takes us, mission is how we live out our faith.
