Women

United Women in Faith is the largest denominational faith organization for women, with approximately 800,000 members nationwide. Our mission is fostering spiritual growth, developing leaders, and advocating for justice. The Purpose of United Women in Faith was adopted by the General Conference of The United Methodist Church as its official mission statement.

United Women in Faith shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

The local group of United Women in Faith at De Leon FUMC consists of approximately 40 women who meet the first Wednesday of each month from September through May at 10:00 AM. Our meetings include Bible study, mission study, and discussions on social concerns and outreach. We are a community of women growing together in faith and service.
